Application Instructions
Before You Start
Tools
- Masking tape
- Vinyl Applicator
- Knife or scissors
- Optional: Measuring tape
Surface Preparation
- 1.Clean surface with isopropyl alcohol
- 2.Allow to dry completely (5-10 minutes)
- 3.Ensure temperature is 15-25°C
Peel & Stick Method
Best for small designs where alignment is easy
Peel the backing paper away
Flip the sticker face-down and carefully peel the backing paper away from the application tape, not the other way around. The vinyl should stay stuck to the tape.
Position and press
Line up the sticker and press it onto the surface.
Firm pressure
Rub over the whole design with a card or your fingers.
Peel the tape off
Slowly peel the application tape back at a low angle.
Remember: Make sure the surface is smooth, dry, and free from dust or grease before starting.
Hinge Method
For longer stickers where perfect alignment is more important
Tape the sticker in position
Use masking tape to hold the sticker in place along the middle vertically, forming a "hinge".
Peel one side of the backing away
Start on one side of the hinge. Peel the backing paper away from the tape, cut it off, then stick that side down.
Press and apply pressure
Use a card or squeegee to apply that half.
Repeat for the other side
Remove the hinge tape, peel the other half of the backing, and apply.
Peel the tape layer off
Slowly remove the application tape at a low angle.
Remember: The surface should be clean before starting the application.
